message de MARTY WILDE sur la situation actuelle

A message from Marty…………..

Hello everyone

We are all experiencing quite an upheaval in these unprecedented times and as it’s not currently possible to entertain you all at the theatres up and down the country, I wanted to let you all know that we’ll be ready to rock ‘n’ roll as soon as the stage lights are turned back on and the band strikes it’s first chord! Some concert dates have been postponed, as soon as they are rescheduled they’ll be on the website.

Many of you have been asking about the new “Running Together” project I’ve been working on for a while, writing and recording. I can tell you it’s all ready to go, the current situation has changed the schedule for myself and so many others in all walks of life, but rest assured we’ll get there. So, exciting times ahead, my management team will post details as soon as possible.

I also very much hope to be able to see you all during the Dreamboats tour later this year along with my friends Eden KaneMark Wynter, daughter Roxanne and the fabulous Wildcats. A very special tour we have all been planning for quite a while that promises to take you along an exciting journey of hits we can all sing together.

In the meantime, I also wanted to share with you a song I wrote a few years ago for my young children Kim and Ricky when I was travelling away from home with shows and not able to see them as much as I wanted to. I have recorded the song twice, 48 years apart, a simple song with a sentiment that perhaps suits the moment now, as many of us are not able to see family and friends for a while with social distancing.

“Lullaby”   click on the title, this will take you to YouTube to see/hear the song.

In closing please stay safe, follow the government advice, I send every good wish to you and your family.

Marty
