CHARLIE DANIELS /
Est né en 1936 à WILMINGHTON (CAROLINE DU NORD) . Il a grandi au son de la musique GOSPEL - BLUES - BLUE GRASS-RHYTM & BLUES - COUNTRY DE NASHVILLE . Il est diplomé de l'école secondaire et peu apres forme un band ROCK N ROLL , apres avoir entendu ELVIS , c'est un musicien aguerri , il joue de la guitare , violon et mandoline . En 1959 il enregistre JAGUAR , un instrumental , produit par BOB JOHNSTON , avec qui il sera associer un long moment .
Il co -ecrit IT HURT ME UN MAGNIFIQUE TUBE , pour ELVIS qui l'enregistre LE 12 JANVIER 1964 RCA s STUDIO B DE NASHVILLE . UN NUMERO 1 EN PUISSANCE que RCA va completement rate comme souvent avec ELVIS dans les annees 60 me direz vous !!! en la placant EN FACE B DE KISSIN COUSINS incomprehensible - nulle -sans aucun reflechi - absurde un titre FORT STUDIO avecune chanson de film !!!!aucune cohesion . Malgre cela le titre est 29 e du billboard et y reste 7 semaines , ca c'est la magie ELVIS , meme tres mal guidé il fait des super scores . Elvie va la réenregistré pour son COMEBACK SPECIAL : LE 20 JUIN 1968 .
DANIELS a fait les session de 69:70 de BOB DYLAN , a produit l album de YOUNGBLOOD (1969) . Il a tourné avec LEONARD COHEN et participé à des enregistrements avec MARTY ROBBINS et AL KOOPER . Il obtient des grammy awards ET 3 TROPHEES DE LA COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION etc etc....voir liste en dessous de ses PRIX OU TROPHEES AFFOLANT !!!!
Il va vendre enormement de disques , devient une icone de la COUNTRY , UJN INDISPENSABLE DES CHARTS .
Il crée aussi THE CHARLIE DANIELS BAND , comprenant au début , 2 batteurs , quelques guitaristesou pedal steel- une danseuse de flamenco , ensuite cela devient grandiose avecrajout de SECTION DE CUIVRES COMPLETES - CHORISTES -DANSEURS - CHORAL GOSPEL . En 1981 , il est nommé TOURNNE BAND DE L ANNEE (voir liste) .... I l est devenu une figure DU SUD - UN PRECURSEUR DANS LE SPECTACLE - UN AUTEUR PRODUCTEUR RESPECTE etc etc ...
ON LUI REND HOMMAGE EN 1998 A LA TELE NATIONALE .
EN 2008 IL EST INTRODUIT COMME MEMBRE PART ENTIERE DU GRAND OLE OPRY .
APRES SA GUERISON ON VA LE RETROUVER LE 27 FEVRIER ...
BON RETABLISSEMENT CHAMPION ET QUE DIEU TE GARDE .
